Urban Land & Housing Group – Landlord Tips – Should my agent take photo’s at an ingoing inspection?

Yes your agent should most definitely take internal photo’s at routine inspection so that the owner is able to see the internal condition of the property if they do not attend inspections.

If the tenant requests that the agent doesn’t take photo’s of their belongings the agent can take photo’s of things that don’t include their belongings (ie kitchen, bathroom, yard etc).

They are many great inspection management software programs that your agent can use to provide the most details routine inspection reports such a inspection manager which is what we use at Urban Land & Housing Group.

Inspections should be carried out either every 3 months or 6 months to ensure the property is being kept in an acceptable condition and all maintenance is attended too.
