Landlord Tips – Is contents insurance my responsibility as a landlord?

Insurance for Landlords is always a hot topic amongst investors. Many landlords are under the assumption that they don’t need to get contents insurance as it isn’t their responsibility to cover the tenants belongings. This is correct however I always suggest that my landlords get contents insurance as well as it covers parts of the home that landlords might not consider should a fire or flooding occur:

 Carpet
 Blinds
 Any other window fittings
