Urban Land & Housing Group – Landlord Tips – How is the management fee charged?

There is a common misconception that the management fee is charged weekly. The management fees are collected off any rent collected.

IE If you tenant pays 2 weeks rent in one week the management fee gets charged on those 2 weeks however if they dont pay any rent that week nothing is charged, so management fees are only charged on any rent collected, not a weekly fee.

Some agent also charge a fee on the water usage or to arrange repairs on the landlords behalf, At ULH we do not charge either of these.

Should you require clarification the charges should be clearly stated on your managing agency agreement.
