Urban Land & Housing Group – Landlord Tips – Disadvantages To Listing With Multiple Agents

A lot of people think that listing your rental property with multiple agents can be beneficial and will help to find a tenant sooner; this is actually not the case.

Majority of agents all advertise on the same websites which most tenants search when looking for a new property. The problem when the same property appears with multiple agents people sometimes see this as a “problem property” and think the owner has listed it with different agents because they are having trouble leasing it.

The other major reason its not a good idea to list with multiple agents is that tenants can then negotiate between other agents to get the lowest possible rental price.

It is always a good idea to make sure that your chosen agent advertises on realestate.com.au and domain.com.au as these two websites get the most traffic from prospective tenants.
