If indeed this plan to close Berrima Jail goes ahead, any job losses will be replaced immediately by jobs in tourism and hospitality. Berrima would without doubt become a tourist Mecca on a scale unprecedented in New South Wales. In a time where hospitality and tourism are struggling we would think this would be welcome news by the Berrima Business Group, and locals wanting to live, work and play in the area they grew up.
From a property perspective there couldn’t be a better time to get in early to purchase land at Compton Park
A range of incredible 100 acre parcels are still available, and with Spring coming on and inspections and sales ramping up – this may be your final opportunity to buy land at this price
See ComptonPark.com.au
In the event you want to spend the weekend (or midweek) exploring the area you can’t go past the Berrima Bakehouse Motel right in the centre of town.
