Last Saturday more than 300 people witnessed the much anticipated auction of the final release of the Excelsior Park Estate in Baulkham Hills. Over 50 registered bidders competed for the blocks that ranged in size from 700sqm to 811sqm. All seven home sites were sold under the hammer in less than one hour, for a total sales value of over $6.18 million with an average sale price of $885,000. A 711sqm block achieved top price selling for an outstanding price of $940,000.
Most of the purchasers were local buyers looking to upgrade, some were from the city and even as far away as Tamworth.
Christopher Lowry, Managing Director of Urban Land & Housing said the vendors were thrilled with the outcome of the auction. “The results from Saturday’s auction is a great indication of the strength of the current real estate market,”
“There is no doubt that the exclusive location and close access public transport and amenities, were factors taken into consideration by purchasers.” He said the results also highlight the demand for good quality, vacant land in established areas and the increase of people wanting to move into the Baulkham Hills area.
