Urban Land & Housing Group – Landlord Tips – Should my agent take photo’s at the ingoing inspection?

It is so important that your managing agent takes a lot of photo’s at the ingoing inspection prior to a tenant moving in.

This ensures that there cannot be any discrepancies or the tenant saying it was like that when they moved in.
Having photo’s to show the condition of the property when a tenant moves in also helps if the matter has to go to tribunal over an vacating damage / repairs.

It is very important to take photo’s of the following:
– Oven (inside and out)
– Stove
– Kitchen cupboards
– Walls
– Carpet / tiles
– Blinds
– Air-con vents
– Yards / gardens
